What I Did

Today in class I wanted to customize my blog further so that it reflected my own personality. I changed the color scheme to a more neutral, yet colorful theme. I chose a purple background and a header photo of the Italian coast where I visited this summer. 

I also uploaded a user photo, created an “About Me” section, and added more personal photos to the page. In the about me section I explained the purpose for my blog and a little background information about myself. 

 

Why I Did It

I added a user photo so that there was more color and personality to my blog. The “About Me” section lets the reader know who the person is behind the posts, and gives the site another dimension because it is a separate page. I also included the reason for the blog because if someone where to find this blog, they would probably not immediately know the reason behind the blog.
