I thought Storify was a really cool tool to gather information and share. It was also really smart to connect it to other social media sites to both gather personal information and trending information, as well as spark interest in other social media users. I may end up using it for something in my collegiate […]

What it is Much like my own tool, Canva is tool meant for beginner graphic designers. You can create a wide range of designs, such as for Facebook, Twitter, business cards, reports, presentations or infographics. It’s an easy click and drag tool, much like a very simplified Photoshop or InDesign. How it’s interesting / How […]

by Ariana • • Comments Off on Day 1 of Project 2 Presentations: 750 Words
What it is 750 Words is an online based tool that is meant for inspiring writers and allows for them to have a private setting to write everyday. They encourage writing everyday and give users creative achievements for doing so. Why it interested me / How I’ll use it I am a writer, but I […]
Cowbird

This tool seems like it would be very helpful for budding writers. The aspect I am most interested in trying out would have to be the Seeds feature. I love prompts, especially if I’m dealing with writer’s block. Also, it would be super fun to read other people’s work. I’m sure there are some less […]

The tool I was really interested in today was Infog.ram. I work on campus at the career center as a Peer Advisor, and am a contributing member to two blogs. In these blog posts I frequently need to include infographics but cannot always find one that is suitable. I’d like to try out Infog.ram to […]

The presentation that most interested me today was the first one on 750 words. I’ve long kept a little journal where I write down random thoughts, but writing gets tiring, you fill up notebooks, and you lose notebooks. 750 Words is a great way to inspire people to write more and to make it easier […]
piktochart

Of all the tools related to graphic design that I’ve seen this week, Piktochart seems like the easiest tool to use. Before we signed up for our tools, I was interested in doing Piktochart because I liked the tool so much. I like how it has templates that you can use and change to how […]
Missing Round 3…

So, I think I am becoming a narcoleptic dog. One minute I’m awake, the next I am face down at my desk. It’s a rough life. Anyway, although I missed the presentations today, I am lucky enough to sit by Reece who did his on a comic strip interface. I personally have never been a…
Prezi

I think I would be most interested in Prezi. I have been a part of a group project that has used it before, but I’ve never done it myself. It looks like such an easy way to present information in a more interesting way than Powerpoint. I really don’t like doing presentations, so I think […]
