I liked Draft the best out of all the presentations today. As a writer, it seems like a great tool. The editing features seem awesome, it seems functional, and I’m very curious about “Hemingway Mode.” The editing features seem way simpler and more useful than Word’s. Definitely going to give it a try!

I really like 750 words. It seems like an effective and user-friendly brain jogger. I might use it to jump start my writing if I ever entered a period of intense writing (as in trying to finish a long document). I liked the simplicity and I think it could be useful for clearing your brain […]

What I did I haven’t done any work on my presentation since my last blog post. Why I did(n’t do) it I have no excuses, I don’t I could but I won’t What I still need to do So much! I need to finish my PowerPoint (and finish addressing all the various points of inquiry […]

What I did Today I simply worked on my PowerPoint presentation for CodePen. I added a lot of examples of products made using the interface, with attempts to comment on its affordances first. I’ll get to limitations later. Why I did it I want to be prepared for my presentation next week!

What I did
Today I simply began working on the Writer Designer Analysis Questions. I did not finish.

Animated Memes With this GIF coupling, I was trying to create a humorous juxtaposition between our football team’s “perception” of themselves after the Ohio state game versus their actual offensive output. I put perception in quotes because I don’t actually know how they feel about themselves. I think it worked well, but that’s really for […]

Meme Time. I created this in Photoshop, and it puns off of the catch line for a popular video game called Portal, which states “Now you’re thinking with Portals.” In the game you control “portals” to complete tasks while trapped in an underground testing facility controlled by a maniacal robot interface. At some point she […]

I got my first choice (hooray!), which is CodePen.io. As I understand it, this site serves as an online coding platform that allows users to write, edit, and preview code easily, hopefully eliminating some of the limitations of coding in a basic text editor. I wanted to interrogate this interface to help cultivate my juvenile interest in […]

What I did Today I worked on arranging the photos on my “Outside the Classroom” page. While I was successful, I wasn’t able to leave captions on the images; instead, you can see the caption has a sort of pop-up when you hover over the image with the mouse. The other thing I did was […]

What I did Today I didn’t do a great deal of editing on my blog. It was a peer review day so I explored other blogs and commented on them. I saw some inspiring blogs and may have to flesh out a couple of new changes to my blog based on them! Why I did […]
