After a long week of classes, I often wake up very happy on Friday mornings knowing that the academic week is almost over and I can soon enjoy the weekend– a feeling that I’m sure all college students experience. Although slightly blurry, the video clip that I chose from “The Lego Movie” accurately portrays this happy, Friday-morning feeling because it depicts someone just waking up and jumping in excitement for the day. By using the gestural mode of communication, I was able to craft a GIF that depicts how one reacts when experiencing the happy, Friday-morning feeling, rather than simply describing the feeling in a picture that uses the spatial, gestural, and linguistic modes of communication.
