With this GIF coupling, I was trying to create a humorous juxtaposition between our football team’s “perception” of themselves after the Ohio state game versus their actual offensive output. I put perception in quotes because I don’t actually know how they feel about themselves. I think it worked well, but that’s really for the audience to decide. The addition of the gestural mode didn’t just change the way I designed the GIF, it defined it. Without the gestures I have no argument whatsoever.
